The prayer in the present petition under Section 483 BNSS is for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.53 dated 08.05.2026 under Sections 316(5), 318(4) and 61 of BNS, 2023 (corresponding Sections 409, 420 and 120-B of IPC) registered at Police Station Sector-5 Panchkula. 2. The petitioner happens to be a Non-executive Director. As he is in custody since 03.06.2026, he be granted the concession of regular bail. 3. The counsel for the State does not dispute the factual contention that 03 accused including Prahalad Krishnamurti, who is the primary accused have already been granted the concession of police bail, that the petitioner is a Non-executive Director and that he is in custody since 03.06.2026. 4. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. 5. The veracity of the prosecution case against the petitioner and his co-accused shall be adjudicated upon during the course of the Trial. Admittedly, the petitioner is in custody since 03.06.2026. In this situation, the further incarceration of the petitioner is not required. 6. Thus without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner-Souvik Sengupta is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned CJM/Duty Magistrate, concerned. 7.
