Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. B.C. Joshi, learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. The instant writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR lodged by respondent no.3 on 18.02.2026 registered as FIR/case crime no. 50 of 2026 for the offences punishable under Section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar (contained as Annexure No.1 from 12 to 19 to the writ petition) qua the present petitioner. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.1 and 2 not to arrest the petitioner and not to take any coercive measure against the petitioner in pursuance to the impugned FIR dated 18.02.2026 registered as case FIR/case crime no. 50 of 2026 for the offences punishable under Section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar against the petitioner (contained as Annexure No.1 from 12 to 19 to the writ petition) qua the present petitioner. 4. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned. 5. The State counsel has no objection. 6. In such view of the matter, instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before 25.05.2026.
