The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 7498 of 2024. It has been alleged that the wife of the petitioner was smothered to death at her matrimonial house. It appears that no explanation has been furnished by the petitioner with respect to the incident which had occurred inside the house. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to reconsider the prayer for bail of the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected once again. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
