Writ petition is instituted seeking direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps based on complaint lodged. It is alleged that there is inaction on the part of concerned police authorities to take steps after lodging complaint alleging that petitioner has lost his mobile phone. 3. Learned advocate representing State respondents submits that FIR has already been registered being Dasnagar Police Station Case No.173/26 dated 4th August, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS, 2023. Copy of FIR dated 4th August, 2026 is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. 4. Since concerned police authority has registered FIR based on complaint lodged, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 5.
