1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition was filed against order dated 28/08/2018 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No. 3.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, petitioner has been promoted from the post of Constable to Head Constable by order dated 17/09/2022, however, she may be allowed to make a representation for grant of promotion from 28/08/2018.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents/State submits that since the petitioner has already been promoted, this writ petition may be
disposed of.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, considered their
submissions and perused the record.

5. Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to make a representation before the respondent/competent authority within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if such a representation
is
made
by
the
petitioner,
the respondent/competent authority will do well to consider and decide petitioner’s representation within six weeks from the date of filing of the representation.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s). Sd/-
