On 10.03.2026, the following order was passed in this case:- The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the impugned order dated 14.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sirsa, in case titled “State Versus Surender Kumar” bearing No. CHI-1109-2024, in FIR No.293 dated 01.08.2024 registered under Sections 115, 118(1), 3(5), 333 of BNS 2023 (323, 326, 34, 452 IPC) (Section 118(1) and 3(5) of BNS 2023 (326, 34 of IPC) deleted later on), (Section 117(2) of BNSS, 2023 added later on) at Police Station Sirsa Sadar, District Sirsa whereby bail of petition has been cancelled, bail bonds have been forfieted and non-bailable warrants of the petitioner were issued, along with all the subsequent proceedings arising therein. He contends that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings once again. Notice of motion for 24.03.2026. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped, Near Housing Board Chowk, Raen Basera Building, Manimajra, Sector 13, Chandigarh, he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of learned trial Court. A copy of the receipt depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the aforesaid Centre as well as a copy of the order granting interim bail to the petitioner be produced in the Court on the next date of hearing. To be heard with CRM-M-11557-2026. 2. Thereafter, on 24.03.2026, the following order was passed:- As per the order dated 10.03.2026, cost of Rs.25,000/- was imposed upon the petitioner. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is unable to deposit the abovesaid amount and prays that the same may kindly be reduced to Rs.10,000/-. In view of the request made by the counsel for the petitioner, the order dated 10.03.2026 is modified to the extent that the applicant/petitioner is directed to deposit the cost of Rs.10,000/- with the Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped, near Housing Board Chowk, Sector 13, Chandigarh and on his depositing SUKHPREET KAUR 2026.07.24 16:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document chandigarh CRM-M-12366-2026 (O& M) the same, he shall be admitted to interim bail in terms of order dated 10.03.2026. 3. In pursuance to the aforementioned orders, the petitioner has surrendered and has since been granted the concession of bail. In view of the above, the present petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
