C.R.M. (NDPS)1581 of 2026
In Re: An application for bail under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Bagdah Police Station Case No.591 of 2025 dated 09.07.2025 under Sections 21(c)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985;
Ganesh Halder Versus The State of West Bengal
Mr. Lakshminath Bhattacharya Mr. Sudarshan Ghosh. …for the petitioner.
Mr. Pinaki Bhattacharyya Mr. Amartya Mohan Bhattacharyya. …for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is better placed than Arafat Mondal who has been granted bail in CRM(NDPS)156 of 2026.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute such contention of the locus of the present petitioner.
Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Ganesh Halder, be released on bail on same terms and conditions as Arafat Mondal in CRM(NDPS)156 of 2026.
With the aforesaid observations, CRM(NDPS) 1581 of 2026 is allowed.
