Learned Counsel appearing for the appellant/claimant is present. Learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.3/ Insurance Company along with its representative are also present. 2. After detailed negotiations, the matter has been settled between the parties. A Joint Memo signed by the learned Advocate appearing for the appellant/claimant (being authorized by the appellant/claimants to sign), the learned Advocate appearing for respondent No.3/Insurance Company and an authorized officer, has been filed. The appellant/claimant has agreed to receive, and respondent No.3/Insurance Company has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2,15,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifteen Thousand), in addition to what has been awarded by the learned Tribunal, in full and final settlement of the claim in the following terms: (i) Respondent No.3/Insurance Company shall deposit additional compensation amount before the learned Tribunal within six weeks from the 4 date of preparation of award, failing which the said amount shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of default, till the date of deposit. (ii) On such deposit by the respondent No.3/Insurance Company, the learned Tribunal shall release an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand) to the appellant/claimant immediately; (iii) The balance amount of Rs.65,000/- (Rupees Sixty Five Thousand) shall be kept in an interest-bearing Fixed Deposit Account in any Nationalised Bank, in the name of the appellant/claimant, for a period of five years. 3. This Miscellaneous First Appeal stands disposed of in terms of the Joint memo.
