According to the petitioner, he and other villagers, belonging to the very same village, have not been permitted to participate in the public auction in respect of the pond and trees in the village of Karnavoor by the fifth respondent. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition in support of his case. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proceedings have already been initiated by the third respondent pursuant to the representation given by the petitioner. Since the representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 3 and 4. Since no adverse order is being passed against respondents 5 to 7, notice to respondents 5 to 7 is dispensed with by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 6.Since the proceedings have already been initiated by the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation, no prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s representation, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the necessary parties, which includes respondents 5 to 7, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2026 requesting respondents 3 and https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 14854 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 4 to take action against the fifth respondent for preventing the petitioner and other villagers, belonging to the village of Karnavoor, from participating in the public auction in respect of the pond and trees in the village of Karnavoor, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, which includes respondents 5 to 7 and any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
