Affidavit of service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record. 2. Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing petitioner, State respondents and private respondent no. 7. 3. Mr. Ayan Bhattacharjee, learned senior advocate representing petitioner submits that prayer is made in this writ petition for quashing of criminal prosecutions initiated but petitioner is in custody. Prayer is also made in this writ petition seeking direction upon the concerned police authorities to inform the petitioner about pending criminal prosecutions. 4. Superintendent of Police, Purba Medinipur being respondent no. 2 is directed to intimate 2 advocate-on-record for the petitioner by 7 (seven) days from date criminal prosecutions which are pending against the petitioner as on date. 5. Writ petition stands disposed of. 6. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law after intimation to be made by the respondent no. 2 and points urged in the writ petition are kept open. 7.
