Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused persons who have been granted anticipatory bail on 27.07.2026 in CRM(A) 1985 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. I have taken into account the locus of the present petitioner which is similar to the other accused persons who have been granted anticipatory bail in CRM(A) 1985 of 2026. Having regard to the fact that the incident complained of relates to the year 2022, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed. 2 Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Soma Ghosh Das shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer on such terms and conditions as he deems fit and proper subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Since the investigation of the case is still in progress, the petitioner shall make herself available as and when called for by the Investigating Officer of the case. Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 2112 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
