The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that despite the passage of three years, the concerned Court has not concluded the proceedings. Therefore, is before the Court seeking expeditious disposal of the same. 4. In the light of the prayer being innocuous and the fact that the domestic violence proceedings cannot hang on for more than six months in terms of the statute, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to conclude the proceedings within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier. 5. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed. Ordered accordingly. Sd/- (M.NAGAPRASANNA) JUDGE JY List No.: 1 Sl No.: 48
