Witar Sangma, in WP(C) No.62 of 2017 by the applicant on the ground that the applicant has replaced the petitioner No.7 in the office of the Headman of Nongdron Village, Raid Mynsaw, West Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya, and that he is no longer in a position to represent the writ petitioner. The prayer made in this application has not been objected to by the learned counsels appearing for the respondents. As there is no dispute that the applicant herein has replaced the writ petitioner in the office of the Headman of Nongdron Village, Raid Mynsaw, West Khasi Hills District, the prayer made in this application is allowed. The applicant is allowed to substitute the writ petitioner No.7 in WP(C) No.62 of 2017. The cause title of WP(C) No.62 of 2017 may be amended accordingly by the counsel representing the applicant.
