(O R D E R) [1] Heard Mr. Rendy M., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. [2] Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned GA appeared on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 to 5, and Mr. S. Vijayanand Sharma, leaned Sr. PCCG appeared on behalf of the respondent no. 6. In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of at the motion stage. [3] At the outset, Mr. Rendy M., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for redressing the grievances raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 10.03.2026 to the Superintendent of Police, Chandel District (Respondent No. 5) and the said representation is still pending for consideration and disposal by the respondent no. 5. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if the Page 3 present writ petition is disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the respondent no. 5 to consider the said representation submitted by the petitioner dated 10.03.2026 on its own merit and strictly in terms of applicable law and to disposed of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period. [4] Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned GA and Mr. S. Vijayanand Sharma, learned Sr. PCCG appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to the consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by him, they have no objection in disposing of this writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. [5] Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the record, this Court is satisfied that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions; (i) The Superintendent of Police, Chandel District (respondent no. 5) is hereby directed to consider the representation dated 10.03.2026 submitted by the petitioner on its own merit and strictly in terms of applicable Page 4 law and to disposed of the same by issuing appropriate orders. (ii) It is made clear that the whole process should be completed within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the said order. (iii) The respondent no. 5 is further directed to communicate any order passed by him or action taken by the respondent no. 5 after considering of the said representation to the petitioner within a period of 2(two) weeks from the date of disposal of the said representation. (iv) It is also made clear that the above direction has been issued without considering the merit of the writ petition. [6] With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
