1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record.
2. By presenting this writ petition prayer is made upon the concerned police authority to provide protection which would facilitate petitioner to have peaceful possession over the land in question.
3. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has right to enjoy peaceful possession over the land in question.
4. State respondents and private respondents are represented by learned advocates.
5. Learned advocates representing private respondents have disputed the submission made on behalf of petitioner and private respondents lay claim over the same plot of land.
6. From the respective submissions made on behalf of parties, it appears that issue involved in this writ
[2] petition is civil in nature requiring petitioner to approach appropriate forum. Police authority is not the appropriate authority to decide inter se right of the parties over the land in question.
7. Hence, writ petition is not interfered with and same stands dismissed.
