JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before the court seeking the following prayers: a. CALL for records from the Respondent; b. ISSUE WRIT OR ORDER QUASHING (i) the impugned investigation into the First Information Report in Crime NO.140/2026 at Annexure-G registered by the 1st Respondent-Police which is subsequently transferred to the 2nd Respondent-Police, pending on the file of the learned II Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru insofar as the Petitioner is concerned as well as (ii) the impugned notice bearing No.ಕುಎ/.ಆ/140/2026 dated 21/07/2026 issued by the 2nd Respondent- Police [Annexure-E) as well as (iii) all investigation/action taken pursuant thereto, to meet the ends of justice; c. PASS any other Order as this Hon'ble Court deems fit, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is ready and willing to co-operate with the investigation which he has to do, but would seek protective orders for a period of 2 weeks till the bail application is decided at the hands of the concerned court. 3. The learned counsel submits that in all the cases the co-accused arising out of the same crime, this Court has - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010505222026 NC: 2026:KHC:40255 WP No. 22597 of 2026 passed its orders. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition reserving liberty to approach this Court in the event the final report is filed and the final report would go against the petitioner . 4. Insofar as the protective order is concerned, no coercive steps will be taken against the petitioner for a period of 2 weeks. In the event, the bail application is not decided within two weeks from today, the protection by this order would automatically stands vacated. 5. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 6.
