1. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That, Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass an appropriate order or issue writ anddirect the respondent authorities to take the necessary steps in pursuant to the representations (Annexure P/5) made by the petitioner, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and fairness.”

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner would be substantially redressed if the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner, which is stated to have been filed as far back as on
23.08.2024. It is submitted that the petitioner may be granted
3 liberty to pursue the said representation before the competent authority. 3. Learned State counsel, appearing for the respondents/State, submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is disposed of with a limited direction to the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and have perused the material available on record. 5.
Considering the limited nature of the grievance raised by the petitioner and the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, particularly the fact that the petitioner is stated to have submitted a representation dated 23.08.2024, this Court is of the considered view that the interest of justice would be served by directing the competent respondent authority to consider and decide the said representation in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent respondent authority to consider and decide the representation dated 23.08.2024 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with a copy of the representation. 4
7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner. The competent authority shall consider the representation independently and strictly in accordance with law. 8.
