It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner along with her family members were driven out of her own residence which situates under Barrackpore Municipality after declaration of General Assembly Election result in the month of May, 2026. 3. Prayer is made in this writ petition for providing assistance by the concerned police authority which would facilitate petitioner to stay at her own residence along with her family members. 4. Mr. Suryaneel Das, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents submits that if petitioner intends to stay at her own residence and expresses willingness before the concerned police authority, necessary steps shall be taken. 5. Concerned police authorities are directed to provide protection to petitioner, if petitioner is willing to stay at her residence along with members of her family. [2] 6.
