Petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; (i) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the Police Notice dated 20/07/2026 bearing No.PÁ.¸ÀÄ/a.¥ÉÆ.oÁuÉ/2026, Ka.Su/Chi.Pu.Thane/2026 issued by Respondent No.4, Chikkajala Police Station, calling upon the petitioners to produce documents relating to Sri Kalikadevi Enterprises produced at Annexure N; (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing Respondents 1 to 5 not to interfere with the lawful business activities of the 1st Petitioner and not to summon, harass, detain, threaten or otherwise coerce the 2nd Petitioner or any other partner, employee or representative of the 1st Petitioner- firm for production of the said documents except strictly in accordance with law and in compliance with the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023; (iii) Declare that the impugned Police Notice dated 20/07/2026 bearing No.PÁ.¸ÀÄ/a.¥ÉÆ.oÁuÉ/2026 Ka.Su/Chi.Pu.Thane/2026 is illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction, mala fide and violative of Articles 14, 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India; (iv) Pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010509932026 NC: 2026:KHC:43270 WP No. 23180 of 2026 2.
