Learned counsel for the petitioner is representing 30 auto-rickshaw drivers who have grievances against several persons unauthorizedly plying their vehicles on the route assigned to the auto drivers, whom the petitioner is representing. Learned counsel submits that the representation made to the Secretary, Department of Transport, government of West Bengal dated 7th July, 2025 has not been responded at all. Learned counsel submits that several complaints made to the Officer-in-Charge of the different police stations have also not been responded. Learned counsel submits that petitioner would be satisfied if his representation to the Transport Department and police is considered and decided after giving the petitioner an opportunity of being heard expeditiously in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 7th July, 2025 after giving the parties an opportunity of being heard in accordance with law expeditiously. The authority shall convey the decision to the petitioner within two weeks of the decision.
3. Since I have not called for any affidavits, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
