1. Affidavit of service as filed be kept with the record.
2. The petitioner is aggrieved that he has not received his pension since 2006. The petitioner was employed in the Eastern Railway Administration at Sealdah and retired sometime in 2005. The petitioner has received pension from 2005 till about 2006, when he stopped receiving pension.
3. The petitioner admits that there have been two lapses on his part; first, that he changed the pension bank account without informing the authorities and second, that he has not submitted the life certificate, which is required for the grant of pension.
4. Life certificate and pension are correlated and without one, the other cannot be given.
5. The petitioner has also made a representation on 28.04.2026, which has not yet been considered by the authorities.
6. I, therefore, direct respondent no. 2 to consider the representation and dispose of the same by 10.10.2026, taking note of the fact that the account has been transferred and resumption of pension

is dependent on submission of the life certificate and shall communicate the decision of such consideration, to the petitioner within a period of seven days thereafter.
7. With the afore-stated direction, the writ-petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
