1. The petitioner is the wife of the deceased employee, who was working in the Health Department, Government of West Bengal. The employee passed away sometime in February 2013. The petitioner had filed an application seeking Succession Certificate being Misc. Case No. 136 of 2013, which was disposed of directing the Succession Certificate to be issued in favour of the petitioner and her mother in-law, the mother of the deceased employee.
2. On the basis of this Succession Certificate, the petitioner was drawing half of the family pension payable on account of the deceased employee.
3. As submitted by Mr. Bag, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner, the mother in-law of the

petitioner expired on February 15, 2018. On her death, the petitioner now claims to be entitled to the entirety of the family pension. There does not seem to be any other person, who is claiming said family pension on account whereof the petitioner’s claim will be considered by the respondent nos. 4 and 5 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
4. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
5. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
