The petitioner has filed an appeal being aggrieved with the deletion of the name of the petitioner from the voter list before the appellate authority that is the District Election Officer, North 24 Parganas, respondent no. 3 herein. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that still the appeal is pending before the District Election Officer and prayed for a direction upon the District Election Officer to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated March 3, 2026. 4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the appellate authority the District Election Officer, North 24 Parganas, respondent no. 3 to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated March 3, 2026 as early as possible preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 2 5.
