This Writ Petition has been filed by the sole petitioner Jitendra Kumar Gupta against the judgment dated 02.03.2015, passed by learned IInd Additional District Judge, Rishikesh, District Dehradun in Rent Control Appeal No. 43 of 2014, “Shri Suraj Prakash Gulati and Another Vs. Shri Jitendra Kumar Gupta”, whereby the appeal has been allowed and the property-in-question has been released. 2. The sole petitioner has passed away. The respondent no.2 has also died. 3. Mr. Siddhartha Singh, learned counsel for the proposed legal representatives of the deceased petitioner and Mr. Piyush Garg, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 and the proposed legal representatives of the deceased respondent no.2. 4. On the request of Mr. Siddhartha Singh, Advocate and Mr. Piyush Garg, Advocate, the proposed legal representatives of the deceased petitioner and the proposed legal representatives of the deceased respondent no.2 are being substituted. 5. Mr. Siddhartha Singh, Advocate, has sought two days’ time to file an amended 2026:UHC:2750 memo of cause title. Time is granted. 6. Heard on the Withdrawal Application (IA No. 4371 of 2026). 7. Mr. Siddhartha Singh, Advocate, submitted that the petitioners have acknowledged and admitted the right, title, interest and ownership of the respondents over the property-in-question. The petitioners have handed over vacant and peaceful possession of the property-in- question to the respondents. All accounts have been settled and nothing is due as against each other. All grievances stand redressed. 8. Mr. Siddhartha Singh, Advocate, submitted that the petitioners are not willing to proceed with further action in the writ petition. 9.
