The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondents for release of admitted liability to the tune of Rs.5,52,800/- and Rs.1,15,800/- respectively in respect of the work done pursuant to the contract allotted vide LOA No. ED/UDH/78899-7904 dated 07.02.2026 and LOA NO. ED/UDH/6419-24 dated 31.12.2025 along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum. In order to substantiate his assertion the petitioner has placed on record the orders of allotment and bills raised on account of the completed works. 2. Since the petitioner appears to have executed the work in pursuant to the tenders floated by the official respondents and is stated to have completed the work. Therefore, the official respondents being the functionaries of the Sate are duty-bound to honour the contractual liability and clear all the bills for the work Serial No. 22 WP (C) No. 3068/2026 CM No. 6784/2026 duly executed pursuant to the allotments made in this respect. 3. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the grievance projected by the petitioner the matter is taken up on board. 4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. In the facts and circumstance of the case, this petition is, disposed of, at this stage with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and clear all the undisputed bills for the work duly done in pursuance of the contracts allotted vide LOA No. ED/UDH/78899-7904 dated 07.02.2026 and LOA NO. ED/UDH/6419-24 dated 31.12.2025, within a period of four weeks. 6. The instant writ petition is disposed of in the manner indicated above, along with the connected application(s).
