For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/02.04.2026 Heard Mr. Suraj Kishore Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The prayer for bail of the of the petitioner was earlier dismissed as withdrawn in B.A. No. 1680 of 2026. It has been alleged that the son of the informant was abducted. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of the co-accused Arun Kumar. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 21.11.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It seems that the victim was recovered from inside the car and the petitioner was also present in the said car which indicates about the active participation of the petitioner in committing abduction of the son of the informant. Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected at this stage. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
