DATE : AUGUST 24, 2026 1) By way of present petition, the petitioner has approached this Court with following prayers :- “a) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order, or Direction, directing Respondent No. 2 to forthwith grant permission to the Petitioner to fill the sanctioned teaching and non-teaching posts for the Junior College at Matoshree Laxmibai Shikshak Sanstha, Post Kanpa, Taluka Nagbhid, District Chandrapur, as per the Government Resolution dated 20/08/2024, within such time frame as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit (ANNEXURE-B); b) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order, or Direction, directing the Respondent no-2 to consider and expeditiously act upon the Petitioner's application dated 19/09/2024 and reminder dated 28/10/2025, in accordance with law (ANNEXURE-D); c) Pass such other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2) The above-referred prayers are being made considering the difficulties faced by the petitioner in the absence of permission to fill the sanctioned teaching and non-teaching KOLHE 2026:BHC-NAG:11018-DB 2 47-wp 3433.2026.odt posts. In the circumstances, we are of the opinion that the purpose would be served if the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and take a decision thereon within a stipulated period. 3) Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and take a decision thereon within six weeks from the date of furnishing a copy of the petition and this order. 4) The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
