AGP Mr. Arka Bhattacharya ……for the State respondents Mr. Chanra Sekhar Banerjee Mr. Shamit Datta ….for the respondent nos. 7-11 1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2) At the time of call, accommodation is prayed for on behalf of the petitioner which is refused having seen the case made out in this writ petition. 3) Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to register FIR based on complaint lodged and it is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that FIR has already been registered. 4) Learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 4th August, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Sarsuna Police Station, Kolkata and same is 2 taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing the petitioner. 5) It is disclosed in communication dated 4th August, 2026 that based on complaint lodged a criminal prosecution has commenced on registering FIR being Sarsuna Police Station Case No. 161 dated 28th July, 2026. 6) Hence, grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 7) Writ petition stands disposed of. 8) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
