1. Heard Mr. Saket Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr. Sumit Singh, learned Deputy Advocate General, appearing for the State/ respondent Nos. 1 to 5. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :-
“10.1. The Hon'ble High Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioners for its kind perusal. 10.2 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to provide protection to the petitioners and their family members from private respondent, in the interest of justice. 10.3. The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to investigate the representations and complaints preferred by the petitioners, in the interest of justice. 10.4. The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to decide the representations of the petitioners, in the interest of justice. 10.5 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to ascertain proper sections of offences upon the private respondent, in the interest of justice. 10.6.
That, such other reliefs as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case may also be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice.”
3. The petitioners have already approached the authority concerned by making representation for protection from the private respondent No.6 as he is regularly giving threat of dire consequences to the petitioners and their family members. 3
4. The authority concerned is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 03 weeks from the production of certified copy of this order. 5.
