1. The petitioner’s resignation which was not accepted by the authorities was the ground of concern and grievance which prompted the petitioner to come to Court.
2. As submitted by Ms. Banerjee, learned AGP, on instructions and as reflected from the order dated 02.07.2026; the authorities have decided to accept the resignation of the petitioner.
3. The order dated 02.07.2026 is kept on record.
4. Since the resignation of the petitioner has been accepted, there is no bar to complete the requisite consequential formalities.
5. The respondent authorities are
directed to complete the entire process and to issue the 'No Objection Certificate' to the petitioner by
30.11.2026.
6. With the afore-stated direction, the writ-petition is
disposed of. No order as to costs.
