This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 5 to comply with the original construction plan approved by respondent No.1 by constructing subways/foot over-bridges at all the five originally proposed places for the safety of the pedestrians to ensure road safety which has been declared as fundamental right under Article 21 of the Constitution of India by the Apex Court in W.P. (Civil) No.295 of 2012 [S.Rajaseekaran Vs Union of India and others]. 3. It appears that the plan has already been approved vide revised administrative sanction in G.O. (Ms) No.71, Highways and Minor Ports (HS1) Department, dated 11.7.2024. It is stated by the petitioner that now the said Government Order has been challenged in a separate writ petition, which is pending. 4. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be issued in this writ petition.
