Heard Sri D.N.V.Ratna Prakash, learned counsel representing learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for Railway Department. 3. Learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for Railway Department reported that the subject land is classified as private patta land and the respondent authorities are not interfering with the possession of the petitioners over the subject land as alleged by them. 4. To the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner requested to close the writ petition by the recording the said submission. 5. Taking into consideration the submissions of both the learned counsel and as the authorities have submitted that they are not interfering with the petitioners possession over the subject land, without going into the merits and demerits of the case, this court is inclined to close the writ petition without expressing any opinion with regard to possession. 4 Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
