The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chas P.S. Case No.88 of 2024 for the alleged offences registered under Sections 406 and 408 of Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be salesman in a liquor shop and the allegations are made that account was shortage to the tune of Rs.14,97,820/-. He further submits that the petitioner was not keeping the transaction of the shop and for that another person was appointed by the employer. He then submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.4 of the petition. 2026:JHHC:9411 --2-- A.B.A. No. 1193 of 2026 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that allegations are there of misappropriating a sum of Rs.14,97,820/-. 5. Considering that the petitioner is said to be salesman in a liquor shop and it has been pointed out that for keeping the money another person was appointed by the employer and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.04 of the petition and in that view of the matter the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
