This petition has been filed under section 528 of BNSS (482 Cr.P.C.) seeking direction to the official respondents for taking appropriate legal action on legal representation dated 03.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) pending before the official respondents as per the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in "Lalita Kumari Versus Govt. of U.P. and others" 2013 (4) RCR (Crl.) 979 and for registration of case against private respondents no.4 to 8 for beating the petitioner and causing gun- shot injuries to the petitioner and causing huge loss to the crop by trespassing into the agricultural land and destroying the cultivated maize crop of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 03.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), RENU RAWAT 2026.07.23 14.41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh CRM-M-39973-2026 2 District Amritsar but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), District Amritsar to look into his representation dated 03.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), District Amritsar to consider and decide the representation dated 03.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
