JUSTICE ANJAN MONI KALITA ORDER Date : 07.04.2026 Heard Mr. S. Borthakur, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. Talukdar, learned State Counsel appearing for all the respondents. 2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of three vehicles with Registration Nos. AS-01-GB-5930, AS-GB-9350 and AS-01-FV-8656. The aforesaid three vehicles were requisitioned by the respondent authorities for their use and in view of such hiring and utilizing of the aforesaid vehicles, the petitioner submitted a bill, amounting to Rs. 38,90,542/- before the respondent no. 3. However, since no payment for the aforesaid hiring was forthcoming, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the instant writ petition. 3. An affidavit-in-opposition has been filed by the respondent authorities in the instant case, wherein, the respondent authorities have specifically admitted an amount of Rs 35,42,651/- to be due to the petitioner. In support of the aforesaid amount, the respondent authorities have given a detailed chart of calculation of the aforesaid amount. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent authorities has submitted that in terms of the aforesaid admitted amount, the instant case can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to clear the dues of the petitioner, to which, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner does not have any objection. 5. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the counsel appearing for the respective parties, it is directed to the respondent authorities to clear the bills of the petitioner, amounting to Rs. 35,42,651/-, which has been specifically admitted Page No.# 3/3 to be the correct amount by the respondent authorities, within a period of 3(three) months from receipt of the certified copy of this instant order. 6. It is also directed to the petitioner that a certified copy of the instant order shall be submitted by the petitioner to the concerned respondent authorities, i.e., the respondent no. 3 at the earliest. 7.
