1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2) At the time of call, accommodation is prayed for on behalf of the petitioner on the ground of learned advocate which is refused having seen the case made out in this writ petition. 3) Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to register FIR based on complaint lodged and it is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that FIR has already been registered. 4) Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 2nd
2 August, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Shibpur Police Station, Howrah Police Commissionerate and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing the petitioner. 5) It is disclosed in communication dated 2nd August, 2026 that based on complaint lodged a criminal prosecution has commenced on registering FIR being Shibpur Police Station Case No. 371 dated 1st August,
2026. 6) Hence, grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 7) Writ petition stands disposed of. 8) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
