SL. No Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGES’S ORDERS
WPCRL No.668 of 2026 Vivek Swaroop
…………Petitioner Vs. Stat of Uttarakhand and others ……….Respondents
Hon’ble Pankaj Purohit, J.
Mr. Aditya Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, learned B.H. for the State.
3. Petitioner feeling aggrieved by order dated 16.01.2026 has filed the present writ petition for quashing the said order.
4. From perusal of the order, it transpires that the State under the hand of Additional Secretary has decided to conduct open vigilance inquiry in respect of the disproportionate assets of the petitioner.
5. It is reflected from the order itself that by this order the Director vigilance was directed to conduct the inquiry and to submit the inquiry report to the State.
6. In this view of the matter the writ petition appears to be premature, in nature; by the impugned order no prejudice is caused to the petitioner. He has filed the present writ petition purely on anticipation that after inquiry he would not get justice. But since the matter is still under inquiry, therefore, this Court cannot interfere in the impending inquiry in the writ petition at this stage.
7. Accordingly writ petition stand dismissed in limine.
