The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to consider and decide the legal notice dated 02.05.2026 (Annexure P-13) submitted by the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had served a legal notice dated 02.05.2026 (Annexure P-13) to official respondents, but the same has not been considered and decided till date. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case the aforesaid legal notice dated 02.05.2026 (Annexure P-13) is considered and decided by respondent No.6 by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a time bound manner. 3. On the asking of the Court, Ms. Shruti, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab accepted notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5-State of Punjab. Mr. D.S. Randhawa, Advocate, put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.6 and 7 and submitted that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, he has no objection to the same and stated that the aforesaid legal notice shall be considered and decided by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three months from today. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and without expressing anything on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.6 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 02.05.2026 (Annexure P-13) by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three months from today.
