By the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- “A) Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus or like nature by directing the respondents to take the joining and permit the petitioner to serve to the post of Patwari and AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Digitally signed by AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Date: 2026.08.24 10:51:14 +0530 2 further please to direct the respondents to pay all consequential benefit to the petitioner from the date i.e 30/6/14. B) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the representation/application of the petitioner within time stipulated. C) Direct the Respondents to permit the Petitioner to join his duties as a Patwari at Patwari Halka No. 1 Tahsil Kharasiya, Distt. Raigarh. D) Any other relief or cost of the petition that this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was initially appointed as Patwari, however, due to his involvement in a criminal case, he was arrested. It is further submitted that vide judgment dated 29.04.2015, the competent Court convicted the petitioner and sentenced him to imprisonment for life. Being aggrieved by the said judgment, the petitioner preferred CRA No.565/2015 before this Court and vide order dated 18.11.2025, the petitioner has been acquitted of all the charges. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted representations dated 01.12.2025 (Annexure P-4) and 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-5) before the S.D.O./Respondent No.3 and the Collector/Respondent No.2 respectively, however, the same have not been considered till date. It is submitted that the petitioner is still in service, but the respondents are not allowing him to join on the post of Patwari.. Hence, the petitioner prays that the respondents may be directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representations. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that if the 3 representations submitted by the petitioner is still pending consideration, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law, within a period of 45 days. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the submissions advanced by learned State counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the petitioner’s pending representations dated 01.12.2025 (Annexure P-4) and 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-5), pending before the S.D.O./Respondent No. 3 and the Collector/Respondent No. 2, respectively, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
