By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to undertake the demolition process on the property of the petitioner without following due process of law forming part of Khasra No. 243 & 246 Village Noorpur Panjanheri, Pargana Jwalapur, Tahsil & District Haridwar. 3. Petitioner apprehends that the shop constructed by him over his bhumidhari land would be demolished due to widening of Haridwar-Laksar road. 4. Learned State Counsel, however, makes statement based on instructions, that there is no proposal of land acquisition and road widening. Thus he submits that the apprehension expressed by petitioner is unfounded. 5. In view of the statement made by 2026:UHC:193 learned State Counsel, no interference is warranted in the matter. 6.
