IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 195 CR-4291-2026 Date of Decision: 20.07.2026 Sarita Gupta ....Petitioner Versus Nisha Rani and another ....Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIKAS SURI ---- Present: None. **** VIKAS SURI, J. (Oral) 1. This petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking directions to the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kurukshetra, for expeditious disposal of an application under Order 1 Rule 10 read with Section 151 CPC (Annexure P-1). 2. The matter has been listed in the urgent cause list and has been called out several times. 3. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Same was the position on the previous date of hearing as well. 4. The case status, as reflected on the e-Courts web portal, would show that application under Order 1 Rule 10 CPC, moved by petitioner–Sarita Gupta, stands disposed of vide order dated 20.05.2026 passed in CS-129-2018 titled as Gurjeet Singh and another vs. Nisha Rani (CNR No: HRKU02- 000201-2018). 5. In view of the above, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. The aforesaid fact also appears to be a reason for non-appearance of the counsel. 6. Dismissed for want of prosecution.
