In the present writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the order dated 18.12.2025 passed by the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal in Appeal No. 315 of 2025 on IA No.2. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon consideration of the impugned order, it is evident that the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal has exercised its discretionary jurisdiction while passing the order on I.A. No.2. This Court is of the considered - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010841732025 NC: 2026:KHC:40599 WP No. 38571 of 2025 opinion that no ground is made out for interference with the impugned order in the exercise of writ jurisdiction. 4. However, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal is requested to dispose of Appeal No. 315 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within an outer limit of Six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, and the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal shall decide the appeal independently and in accordance with law.
