This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ the commanding respondent authorities to give the promotion's post to the petitioner and also provided the future benefit to him as per his entitlement. C. This Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to quashed the promotion list dated 05.01.2019 (Annexure P-4). D. Any other relief as the Hon'ble Court may be deemed fit and proper with cost of petition. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation (Annexure P/5) before the competent authority seeking his promotion. However, the said representation has not yet been considered and decided. He, therefore, confines his prayer to a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the said representation, in accordance with law, within a stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents does not oppose the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, respondent No. 2/competent authority is directed to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P/5) submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the persons who are likely to be materially affected by the decision. The petitioner shall be at liberty to submit an additional representation along with all relevant documents, if so advised. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case. 6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/-
