None appears for the parties. 2. It appears from the writ petition that, the petitioner is concerned about his son. He suffers from medical condition affecting his mind. 3. It also appears from the writ petition that, an application was filed by the petitioner before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate for treatment of the son of the writ petitioner. Sub-Divisional Magistrate passed various orders. The son of the writ petitioner was lodged in the Dum Dum Correctional Home on July 13, 1990. 4. It appears from the writ petition that, writ petitioner filed an application for release of the son of the writ petitioner. There is an order dated June 26, 1997 of the Sub- Divisional Magistrate. Writ petitioner made a represented dated September 24, 2003. 5. In view of the writ petitioner being unrepresented and in view of narration of events as recorded herein, we do not find it prudent to keep the writ petition pending. 6.
