Ms. Gurdeep Kaur, Advocate, records her appearance on behalf of the respondent No.2, under a validly executed Vakalatnama, instituted before this Court today. She submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the demise of the petitioner has unfortunately occurred and, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks an adjournment, thereby enabling him to have appropriate instructions regarding the aforesaid submission. 3. List on 10.02.2026 in the urgent list.” 2. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, verifies that the demise of the petitioner has unfortunately occurred. 3. Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed, as having been rendered abated.
