No.2933 of 2026 situated in S.F.Nos.463/A1, 466/1, 467/1A and 467/2A at Thennilai (West) Village, K.Paramathi Panchayat Union, Karur District, pursuant to the proceedings of the 4th respondent dated 12.03.2026 by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 22.05.2026 in CSR No.0090/2026. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted the the petitioner company had obtained proper permission to erect electric poles and lay transmission lines in the panchayat car track in survey number 567, 573 and 576 of Thennilai West Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District. However, certain miscreants are hindering the petitioner company from laying the same. In this regard, the petitioner has already given a complaint. A CSR has been issued. Since no action has been taken, this Writ Petition is filed. 3. The learned Government Advocate, submitted that it is true that the petitioner had obtained proper permission, however, not on all the survey numbers as claimed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, but only he has obtained permission to draw transmission lines through certain survey numbers. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP CRL.(MD). No.2933 of 2026 4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record. 5. In view of the submission made by either parties, this Court hereby directs the third respondent police to offer necessary police protection to the petitioner company to erect electric poles and draw transmission lines only in terms of the permission order obtained by the petitioner. It is made clear that the transmission lines should be drawn and poles should be erected only in those permitted survey numbers. 6.
