The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to kindly declare the point no. 2, in promotional order dated 14.06.2024 (Annexure P/11) as illegal null and void. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to kindly direct the respondent authority to grant seniority to the petitioner from the date his juniors private respondent no. 04 & 05 were issued promotion orders that is from 24.07.2021. 10.3 Any other relief/relief’s may be granted to the petitioner, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the present fact and circumstances of the case including the cost of the petition.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that aggrieved with the wrong fixation of seniority, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 05.08.2024 (Annexure P/12), however, till date the representation has not been considered and decided and therefore, direction be issued to the Respondent No. 2 to take decision on the pending representation at the earliest. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State submits that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits, but is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner, he is having no objection. If the representation is still pending consideration, it will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents enclosed along with the writ petition. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation dated 05.08.2024 (Annexure P/12) submitted by the petitioner in 3 accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 03 months from the date of receipt of the order. 6.
