The petitioner has filed the instant petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to issue the result of B.A. Part-III of the petitioner in accordance with law, within stipulated period. 10.2 To kindly grant any other relief which may be deem %t in the given facts and circumstances of the instant case.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had appeared in the examination, but her result has been withheld on account of the change of subjects from Political Science and Economics to Home Science and Hindi (Literature). He submits that the petitioner may be permitted to appear in the relevant examination with the appropriate subjects in accordance with the rules applicable to her. 3. Learned counsel appearing for respondents No. 2 and 3 submits that the reply on behalf of the said respondents has been filed today. Referring to the reply, he submits that the petitioner had changed her subjects from Political Science and Economics and, in place thereof, had filled up the examination form for Home Science and Hindi (Literature), on account of which her result was withheld. He further refers to the memo dated 18.08.2022 (Annexure P/4) issued by the respondents, which records the aforesaid position and appears to have been received by the 3 petitioner. He also submits that the petitioner has not sought any specific relief for declaration of her result. 4. Learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3, while referring to the reply filed on their behalf, submits that the petitioner had changed her subjects from Political Science and Economics and, in place thereof, had filled up the examination form for Home Science and Hindi (Literature). It is submitted that, in view of the aforesaid change of subjects, the result of the petitioner was withheld. Learned counsel further refers to the memo dated 18.08.2022 (Annexure P/4) issued by the respondents, which records the aforesaid position and appears to have been received by the petitioner. It is also noticed that the petitioner has not sought any specific relief for declaration of her result. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the record, this Court finds that, in view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, no direction for declaration of the petitioner's result can be issued in the present proceedings. However, considering the nature of the grievance raised by the petitioner, it is deemed appropriate to clarify that the petitioner shall be at liberty to appear in the relevant examination with the appropriate subjects, subject to her fulfilling the eligibility criteria and other requirements prescribed under the applicable rules. The concerned respondents shall consider the candidature of the petitioner for such examination in accordance with law. It is further made clear that the pendency/disposal of the present writ petition shall not come in 4 the way of the petitioner in appearing in the relevant examination or pursuing her academic course, subject to fulfilment of the applicable rules and requirements. 6.
