The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ, in the nature of mandamus declaring that the Petitioner in establishment holding a license under Rule 3(9) of the Karnataka Excise (Sale of Indian and Foreign Liquors) Rules, 1958 are entitled to employ women in its establishment; b. Issue a writ, in the nature of certiorari and quash the oral instructions of closure of the Petitioner establishment issued by the Respondent Police for employing women in their establishment holding a valid license under Rule 3(9) of the Karnataka Excise (Sale of Indian and Foreign Liquors) Rules, 1958 as illegal and arbitrary. c. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondents to direct the Jurisdictional Police not to interfere with the lawful business of the Petitioners. d.
