Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 14.06.2025 in connection with Littipara P.S. Case No.13/2022, corresponding to Sessions Trial No.197/2025, registered under Sections 323/376/420/504/506 r/w 34 of IPC, now pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge – I, Pakur. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the allegation, the petitioner along with the another reached the house of the informant and took the victim along with them to Delhi to provide her job and when she asked for money, she was told that the entire amount has been paid to the co-accused. She submits that it is the alleged that when the victim came back home, the petitioner committed rape upon her on the false pretext of marriage. 4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer and submitted that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of committing rape. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of direct allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
